The Cathedral of the Marshes
Holy Trinity, Blythburgh is offering a new service. But this one doesn’t involve hymns, prayers or a sermon! Thanks to local resident Colin Huggins, we’re able to provide a free, general interest tour of the church every Thursday at 11am. There’s no need to book, you simply turn up in the church porch. Children are welcome, but they must be accompanied by an adult throughout the tour. If you’d like to know more, call or text Colin on 0750 8888 460.

On Saturday 3 November at 7.30pm, we’re hosting a concert by the Amnesty Chorale. Entitled “Fighting for Freedom”, it’s an evening of music and readings commemorating the centenary of the end of the First World War, and marking other struggles against oppression in the last 100 years. The programme will include extracts from requiems by Britten and Verdi. The concert will be conducted by Richard Brain, Director of Music at Christ Church, Southgate, London, and Ellis Bell.
