On Saturday 3 November at 7.30pm, we’re hosting a concert by the Amnesty Chorale. Entitled “Fighting for Freedom”, it’s an evening of music and readings commemorating the centenary of the end of the First World War, and marking other struggles against oppression in the last 100 years. The programme will include extracts from requiems by Britten and Verdi. The concert will be conducted by Richard Brain, Director of Music at Christ Church, Southgate, London, and Ellis Bell.
Tickets £10 (£7 concessions) available on the door. Proceeds from the concert will go to Amnesty International.
