Help make it happen

We know that the floodlit church means a lot to many people. If you’re one of them, here’s your chance to make sure it continues. You can sponsor our floodlights for a week or more each year. The church is lit from dusk (or 6pm in winter) to around midnight every night of the year except Good Friday. It costs around £100 per month in electricity alone – and more with maintenance.

How it works

You could sponsor the church floodlights for just £20 per week. You can choose a specific week (on a first-come, first-served- first basis). You might like to celebrate your birthday, an anniversary, or some other significant event. If you’re able to gift aid your donation, we will be able to claim an additional £5 from the taxman!

We’ll publicise your sponsorship in the porch of the church, as a public thank you for your generosity – but of course you can make your donation anonymous if you wish.
